$60.00 CAD – $120.00 CAD
Join me for an afternoon of creating your own macrame wall hanging! We will go over the essential knots you need to know to make a beautiful piece of your own. Either follow along with my pattern, or freestyle it and create your own design.
Due to COVID and social distancing I have decided to host this workshop via ZOOM! The day before the workshop I will send out a unique room ID and password for you to use to join the session. Along with some Zoom room etiquette.
Date: Sunday May 24, 1-4pm PST
All supplies are included in the price, but things will just run a little differently. I have two options for getting you your supplies: curb side pickup, and contactless delivery.
Curb side pickup: If you chose this option we will arrange a date and time for you to come and pick up the supplies from me. I will put the supplies outside my front door at the designated time and then wait inside for you to pick them up (just to ensure no one steals them!). I have two pick up locations: Dunbar and 41st, and Gastown.
Contactless delivery: for a small fee I will drive the supplies to your house if you live within the GVRD. We will arrange a date and time and I will leave the supplies on your doorstep for you and wait in my car for you to pick them up (again, to ensure they aren’t stolen!).
**Please note, all supplies were purchased before COVID so there is no chance of the virus being present on them. I do not and have not had the virus and have been self isolating since March 16th. I have not had contact with the outside world expect for at the grocery store where I wear a mask and gloves to protect myself**
I am also offering an option for those that don’t live in Vancouver or would like to purchase their own supplies. You will need a wooden dowel or piece of driftwood that is approximately 13″ long and eight lengths of rope that are each 115″ long (yes, that long!), plus one length for the hanging loop, about 40″ should be plenty. I order my rope from ropeshop.ca and use the 3 strand braided rope in 5mm. Here is the direct LINK to what I use. The 100ft hank should be enough for the workshop.
